ABOUT TREK

Kedarkantha Summit trek is a classic winter trek for first time trekkers. The peak is a beautiful ridge peak situated in the Tons river valley of the Garhwal Himalayas Uttarakhand, accessible anytime of the year. This trek gives you ample time to soak in the flora and fauna and passes through the protected area of Govind National Park. You will be rewarded with the views of Ranglana peak, Kalanag peak, Banderpooch peak and Swargarohini peak after reaching the summit at an altitude of 3850 meters. Trekkers will also have the opportunity to get a close encounter with the locals of some of very remote and ancient villages of the Garhwal Himalayas. The trail passes through the beautiful pine forests and meadows covered with snow in winters. It starts with a crunchy walk on a carpet of brown leaves in a pine forest and gives you natural beautiful views. After reaching the top you cansee the Garhwal Himalayan Mountains kissing the morning sky with their snow-clad peaks. This trek offers you the experience of a snowfall, camping in snow and some beautiful views of snow-capped Himalayan ranges, magnificent views of charming villages, meadows, snow paths and dramatic landscapes dotted with lovely lakes.
